Dairy Sustainability Framework
The Dairy Sustainability Framework was developed in order to provide overarching goals and alignment of the sector’s actions globally on the path to sustainability. It aims to ensure that regional sustainability programs are aligned with the sector’s vision, bring together regional programs and to collaborate to speed up progress in these areas.
Requirements
The DSF contacted STAR in 2016 for support with their multilingual video requirements. They had compiled 23 videos addressing frequently asked questions about their company, aims and membership. With the goal of reaching suppliers in six key geographical areas, they required subtitles in Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Burmese, Thai and Vietnamese.

The STAR Solution
STAR was able to provide support for every step of the project instead of requiring the involvement of multiple agencies. After providing timecoded files for the videos, STAR took care of translations into six languages, using translation memory to ensure consistency across files and as a final step, delivered the subtitled videos back to the customer.
